Ava WestenHoot was adopted by Mike and Amanda in November 2013, when she was nearly three years old.

Ava is a whippet mix.  We don’t know what “mix” she is, but we’re often told that she looks like a border collie or kelpie.

Ava likes to lounge around the house most of the day, but is eager to play and learn when she does finally get up.  She LOVES to go on walks and to visit the local dog parks.
